These activities may not constitute a “sale” or “targeted advertising” under applicable law. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out mechanism under applicable law. Where legally required, we will recognize valid browser-based universal opt-out preference signals.

8. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Essential Cookies

These cookies support basic website operation, security, navigation, accessibility, and form functionality.

Analytics Cookies

10. PAYMENTS

The website may link to or use third-party invoicing or payment-processing services. When you make a payment through a third-party service, that provider may collect payment card, bank-account, billing, and authentication information under its own privacy policy. AWE may receive information such as:

Publicity and portfolio rights may be addressed in a separate client agreement, a photography release, a vendor agreement, or a written permission. You may contact us with questions about particular portfolio content at ali@awe13.com.

12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our website is intended for adults seeking information about event planning and related services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. Because Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and other events often honor minors, a parent or legal guardian may provide information about a child as part of an inquiry or client engagement.

When a parent or guardian provides information about a child, the parent or guardian represents that they have authority to provide the information and consent to its use for the requested event-planning purpose. We may process information about a child only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Vendor-management practices;

  • Data-minimization practices;

  • Secure storage systems; and

  • Procedures for responding to suspected security incidents.

  • Applicable statutes of limitation;

  • Legal and tax requirements; and

  • Whether information is needed for an active dispute or claim.

  • Confirm whether we process their personal data;

  • Access their personal data;

  • Correct inaccuracies;

17. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

To submit a privacy request, contact:

Email: ali@awe13.com
Subject line: Privacy Request

Please include:

  • Your full name;

  • Your preferred contact information;

  • The nature of your request;

  • Your relationship with AWE, if applicable, and

  • Enough information for us to locate the relevant records.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. Please do not send a government-issued identification document unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate method. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may generally submit a request free of charge. We may charge a reasonable fee or decline a request where permitted by law, including when a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, technically infeasible, or cannot be authenticated. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law. We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf and may contact you directly to verify the request.

18. APPEALS

Where applicable law provides a right to appeal, you may appeal a denial by emailing ali@awe13.com with the subject line:

Privacy Request Appeal

Please describe the request, our decision, and why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and respond within the period required by applicable law. If a Delaware resident’s appeal is denied, the resident may have the right to contact the Delaware Department of Justice regarding the decision.

19. NONDISCRIMINATION

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Exercising a privacy right will not result in the denial of services, different pricing, reduced service quality, or retaliation, except where a difference is reasonably related to the value or availability of the information or otherwise permitted by law.

20. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA

The website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media platforms, venues, vendors, publications, or services.

AWE does not control the privacy or security practices of independent third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that party’s privacy policy. Social media platforms may collect information when you view, interact with, or follow links to their services, even when those features appear on our website. Review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information.

21. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

AWE is based in the United States, and personal information may be processed and stored in the United States. Privacy laws in the United States may differ from those in your country. Where the laws of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction apply to our processing, you may have additional rights, including the rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact ali@awe13.com to make a request relating to applicable international privacy rights.

22. DO NOT TRACK AND UNIVERSAL OPT-OUT SIGNALS

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” settings. Because there is no uniform industry standard governing all Do Not Track signals, the website may not respond to every traditional Do Not Track setting.

Where required by applicable law, we will recognize valid universal opt-out preference signals concerning the sale of personal information or targeted advertising. Because we do not currently sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising, receiving such a signal will not ordinarily change our current practices.

23. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in:

  • Our website;

  • Our services;

  • Our information-handling practices;

  • Technology;

  • Legal requirements; or

  • Business operations.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top.

If changes materially affect how we use personal information, we may provide additional notice where required by law.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
